About Us

We are a small Munich street brass band. Since 2013, we meet every Sunday evening at the Kreativquartier Munich to rehearse together and develop new ideas. But we are not only active on Sundays: Between rehearsals, we are regularly at demonstrations for democracy, human rights, diversity, or climate protection and at other events – sometimes more often, sometimes less, but always with enthusiasm and conviction. From the very beginning, it was clear: We are more than just a band. As an activist street band, we want to not only inspire with our music but also support and amplify various protests. Our community brass band thrives on diversity: With us, people who are picking up their instrument for the first time play alongside professional musicians who often try out a new instrument with us. Most of us are somewhere in between – but everyone shares the joy of making music together and standing up for a cause. A yearly highlight: our joint hut rehearsal weekend – music, community, and lots of fun guaranteed!

Location

We usually rehearse in Munich on the Mucca grounds in the Kreativquartier. Here we have all the possibilities to let off steam and store our instruments. We also have instruments for beginners to borrow and try out. In summer, we often play outside in the courtyard, in the Olympiapark, or at other places like the Theresienwiese.
